In 2017 I went to Fujian province to help shoot the opening video for the BRICS summit. I shot mostly hyperlapse and time-lapse with a few shots on the Arri Mini.
The idea of the film is to highlight the dynamism of Fujian Province, from beautiful beaches to forested mountains and high-tech industries to rural fishing communities, Fujian is incredibly diverse. The shoot was a huge crew in the middle of the hot summer and we visited Xiamen, Quanzhou, Fuzhou, Putian and Meizhou Island over a period of 7 days.
