From 2023 to 2025, I had the opportunity to work with Dragonfruit Media, a YouTube growth agency that partners with education focused creators and brands to develop engaging video content backed by data-driven strategies. Initially joining part-time and transitioning to a full-time position in 2024, I contributed to the post-production team, focusing on editing long- and short-form YouTube videos that optimized retention, pacing and viewer engagement.
I was part of a collaborative workflow alongside scriptwriters, project managers and client-facing producers. I helped bring to life videos for some of the platform’s most influential creators and businesses, including:

My responsibilities included editing video content to match each creator’s voice and branding, implementing feedback from strategists and producers and ensuring the final product adhered to YouTube’s best practices. I gained deep experience editing for business, lifestyle, fitness and music-oriented channels, always with the goal of helping content perform organically and drive audience growth.
This role sharpened my technical skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, motion graphics and sound design, while reinforcing my understanding of storytelling in the YouTube ecosystem.
