For the past year I’ve been editing episodes of “The Current,” a podcast produced by Living Water Church of the Nazarene in San Diego. This podcast serves as a space for meaningful conversations on faith, community and service, reflecting the mission of the church to worship, build community and serve the city’s East Village neighborhood.
My role as editor has involved:
-Cleaning and balancing audio to ensure clear, distraction-free listening
-Structuring and trimming episodes for flow and clarity
-Adding intro/outro music and ambient transitions to support tone
While this has been a personal project in support of my brother’s work, it’s also given me the opportunity to refine my audio editing and storytelling skills in a faith-based, community-focused context.
